In order to take any organization from good to great, it requires a combination of the right people and a variety of resources.  At all three levels of our program, we have worked hard to fill our coaching staffs with positive adult role models who believe in teaching life lessons through sports.  While our performance on the mat matters, ultimately, it’s what these kids do 10, 20, and even 30 years down the road that matters most. 

 

To enhance our financial resources, we established a non-profit (registered 501c3) called Dexter Wrestling United (Federal Tax ID# 99-4960118).  This type of a non-profit allows community members and business owners to make donations for the purpose of creating a first-class wrestling program for the kids in Dexter while receiving a tax deduction.  With all of the contributions we receive, funds are used to attract high quality coaches & clinicians for our wrestlers, purchase better training equipment, outfit the team with quality wrestling gear, provide end-of-year team banquets, and create opportunities for clinics and summer wrestling camps.

 

Any consideration for financial support is most appreciated as it allows our wrestlers to chase their dreams, while bringing the goals of the Dexter Wrestling program closer to reality.  Thank you for your consideration in this request.
